Storyteller: Floyd Herman

I’ve had an interesting working life (School Principal, Wedding Officiant, Organist and Choir Conductor, Huron County Correspondent for “Ontario Morning” on CBC Radio), but I’ve never had a better title than the one at Cowbell Brewing – “Chief Storyteller.”
Phil, Cheryl and I have the best job in the world. We get to see the looks of amazement and hear the words of praise from our Guests as we take them on a tour at the Cowbell Farm. I love telling folks intriguing stories about the history of our community and the stories behind the names of the beers in our Founders’ Series… and why Grandpa Sparling came to Blyth in 1948 and why he didn’t leave when he was scheduled to do so.
On our VIP Guided Tour, you’ll learn how the Sparling family moved from propane to craft beer. You’ll definitely want to know about the exciting plans for the Cowbell Farm that will literally bring thousands of people for lots of music and fun. We’ll explain our state-of-the-art Canadian-made Newlands stainless steel brewing equipment, and tell you about the Four Pillars at Cowbell Brewing Co. And how purchasing Cowbell beer makes a REAL difference at Ontario’s four Children’s Hospitals. Not only that, but you’ll find out how and why we chose the name Cowbell!
Do come for a visit soon, and sample some of our delicious beer available at the bar. No surprise that this “old guy’s” favourite Cowbell beer is our original, Absent Landlord, a glorious German Kolsch style of beer.
See you at the Cowbell Farm – I’ve got some great stories to tell you!
We welcome you to Blyth to experience Cowbell Brewing Co. Ask for Floyd! He will be happy to take you on a VIP Cowbell Tour. Book your tour today by calling 226 909 0066 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
