It’s All About the Experience

Although we work as a team, my primary role at Cowbell is to develop and promote our 26,000 square foot craft brewery as a beer, food and tourist destination situated on 111 acres of beautiful countryside.I’m often asked what I do at Cowbell. “What does the title, ‘Director of Country Cool Experiences’ mean?” “You look like you have a lot of fun. What do you do?”

What does it mean to be a Canadian craft brewery destination in Southwestern Ontario? A visit to Cowbell will mean an unforgettable experience in a place unlike any other in Canada. Blyth Cowbell Brewing Co. is a craft brewery where you will enjoy a variety of delicious craft beers, local food pairings and exceptional service, all while experiencing everything that rural Ontario has to offer. Oh, and did I mention our OUTDOOR event space? Picture all of that while listening to outstanding live music, under the stars, in the back forty!

My job involves working with our team to create unique experiences for you. It’s an hour north of London and an hour west of Kitchener-Waterloo, at the corner of highways 4 and 25. Our venue will include 25 taps (featuring our own beer, cold-press coffees and house-made soft drinks, as well as other Huron County beer), seating for over 220 people both inside and outside in our full service restaurant, hosting exciting events in the bar area, upstairs in the event space, and in the brewery. With 70+ acres of outdoor event space, we will host a wide variety of exciting festivals, sporting events, food experiences, entertainment, and concerts, just to name a few!

On Canada’s 150th birthday on July 1, 2017, we will host our first event at the Cowbell Farm. It will feature all things Canada — sports, music, culture, and of course, delicious Cowbell beer!

The Cowbell Farm will be a place where you can bring your family, friends, corporate team, wedding party, next door neighbour, and everyone else you love. It’s a place where old friends meet and new friends greet. A place to truly call home. That’s the Cowbell Farm.

This is a long answer to a simple question, but yes! Working with many friends of Cowbell to create an authentic, unique, Canadian experience in rural Ontario is a dream come true. And yes, this is my dream job!

We look forward to seeing you at the Cowbell Farm in Spring 2017.
